On the other hand, Killer players can take the role of several serial murderers, including the Trapper, the Wraith, the Hillbilly, the Nurse or Michael Myers. To do so they can turn on several disables generators that will open the exit to the area. They have to try and escape an an enclosed area that can be either a secluded forest, an abandoned junkyard, a decrepit cornfield, a haunted asylum, or the small town of Haddonfield, Illinois. Survivors assume the role of Jake Park, Meg Thomas, Dwight Fairfield, Claudette Morel, Nea Karlsson, or Laurie Strode. Dead by Daylight is an asymetric multiplayer survival horror game where four players try to escape from a fifth one that plays the killer.
